The first 10 years of a Cayman creative agency: Massive Media

We are a full service creative marketing agency based in the Cayman Islands. We value an out-of-the-box approach to marketing projects, exceptional work quality and responsive client service for more than 10 years.

Check out some highlights below, or learn more about us here

2014

2014

After Pavel repaired an old storage cupboard in the Massive Equipment compound, a few pieces of IKEA furniture were built, Pavel and Rich set about trying to find clients! We launched our first two agency campaigns to introduce ourselves to the world; Cupid Brand Guidelines, and Chicken Foundation.

2015

2015

We suddenly had employees and clients, it all started to feel like a real business. We started making our mark in Cayman with out-of-the-box client campaigns, including the introduction of WaLTEr, and the infamous recruitment mohawk.

2016

2016

Pavel left the office/cupboard to relocate back to Europe, soon after starting the Czech ‘office’ – the hub for all MM design and development . Even more employees joined the team, and we started taking socials and the snack cupboard much more seriously.

2017

2017

Helio New York – MM goes international! We also discovered that Rich is pretty terrible at bowling, and Pavel proved that his plumbing was all in perfect working hour as the first MM baby arrived (real baby picture shown here).

2018

2018

Hello new office – MM goes to Governors Square! The effect of providing windows to the team could not be overstated, we had to use champagne to tempt them back to their desks. Still no sign of the fabled rainbow rug that Pavel hid in disgust (‘justice for the rug’, – David and Rich).

2019

2019

The Chickens became a saga, as we released the second part of our flagship agency campaign (you are currently on part III, if that was not abundantly clear). As part of the campaign, we released a totally uncontroversial research report into local opinions on a various issues including gay marriage and legalizing marijuana.

2020

2020

Despite the incredible challenges that 2020 presented us all, we were incredibly proud of how well our team responded. We were now all remote, and looked out for each other and our community however we could.

2021

2021

As life got back to (relative) normality in Cayman, the demand on marketing was larger than ever. Turns out, a post-pandemic economy has a heckuva lot of market research and rebranding to do!

2022

2022

I’m sure we did other things this year, but the 9 month long campaign for Kirk Freeport’s 50th anniversary was so much work that the rest just feels like a blur tbh. This included Rich’s all time favourite MM video production, check it out here.

2023

2023

The team that cooks together, drinks wine, burns sauces, and argues about the judges results together.

Did you hear about Chickstarter?! It’s the hottest new campaign in Cayman, brought to you by your truly! If not then we really can’t help you…
